PALIS Leaflet_Mrs. Dunn’s Lecture on Oct. 19th, 2016オパール・ダン夫人は、1970年代にブリティッシュ・カウンシルの役員として東京に赴任されたご主人と共に9年間日本に滞在。その間、皇室の英語教育を担当し海外生活の経験を持つ子供たちのために「だんだん文庫」を設立。その後、同様の文庫の創設はまたたく間に広がり、国際児童文庫協会を設立しました。
ポピンズとは30年以上に渡る深く長い関係があり、ポピンズはダン夫人のアドバイスを受けながらエデュケアの質を高めてきました。
この度、ダン夫人の来日が決定し、PALISにて特別講演を開いていただくことになりました。今回は「Supporting Young Children Becoming Bilingual」がテーマとなっておりますので、外国語教育に関心をお持ちのご家族にとって、また日本在住の外国籍のご家族にとっても、非常に有益かつ貴重な講演内容になるかと存じます。ご興味のある方は是非、ご参加くださいませ。

We will harvest and cook vegetables at Poppins Farm, watch fireworks at night, observe the starry sky, grab mountain trout, and more! Our native English-speaking teachers and bilingual assistants offer an English adventure that can be experienced only in the great outdoors. Please come join us for this memorable occasion!

Story Book Programme (children ages up to 3 years)
This programme offers engaging week-long book discoveries from famous authors. Children will be immersed into fun and engaging literary worlds through book readings, crafts, activities, phonics, cooking, art, and more!

1st August – 5th August: Hungry Caterpillar Week
15th August – 19th August: Dr. Seuss Week
29th August and 30th August: Happy Hippo Days

Galaxy Programme (children ages 4 to 6 years)
Engage in weekly projects for a rich and in-depth exploration of art, phonics, music, and even robotics! Each week features a new project!

22nd August – 26th August: Technology / Robots Week

You can join from 1 day to a full 4 weeks! Although the official summer programme starts from July 27th, we are planning to accept students between 3–6 years old from July 1st to accommodate children whose schools close earlier for summer holidays. 今年の夏もＰＡＬＩＳで素敵なサマープログラムを実施します。

期間：7月1日～8月28日
対象年齢：外部生は3歳以上のお子様のご参加となります。
時間：　8時半～15時（延長保育有り）
参加費：一日15000円 （4才児以上対象のテクノロージーロボットウイークのみ5日間で85000円

7月1日から26日まではBe Our Guestの期間。3日以上のお申込みで通常のスクールの一日を楽しみましょう。

1. Summer Programme（3歳）は、ネイティブの先生方と一緒に、遊びの中で英語に触れることができます。
毎週ごとに、著名な絵本作家をテーマにしたクラフト、音楽など盛りだくさんのプログラムとなっています。

2. Summer Programme（4歳から6歳まで）は,毎週ごとにテーマを決めて、フォニックス、ミュージック、アート、テクノロジー・ロボットウイークを予定しています。
また、別途ではありますが、8月8日(月）～10日（水）まで、4歳以上のお子様を対象に、たてしな森のスクールを計画しており、ご参加いただけるお子様を募集しております。
